Deadline extended to January 31st!
The Enterprise Blockchain Awards (EBAs) honour the foremost thinkers, leaders, and builders in enterprise blockchain technology. Winners of the 2020 EBAs will be presented at the Enterprise Blockchain Awards Gala on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
The following award categories are available for submission to the 2020 EBAs. The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday, January 31st, 2020 at 11:59pm EST. Please note that a submission fee of $100 CAD applies to each application.
Categories for Individuals
The Blockchain Leadership Award honours an individual who has shown exceptional leadership in blockchain education, collaboration, or implementation within an enterprise, industry, government, or other organization. This individual has gone above and beyond their regular job description to spearhead blockchain initiatives within their industry.
The New Frontier in Blockchain Research Award honours a researcher/academic who has been investigating the use of blockchain technology to push the boundaries of new business models, increase operational efficiencies, or promote individual behavioural changes. This category rewards an individual who is “thinking outside the box” to solve complex challenges.
Categories for Organizations
The Innovative Entrepreneurship in Blockchain Award is presented to a start-up company that is providing innovative blockchain technology solutions to support enterprises, governments, or other organizations in the journey to transform their business.
The Enterprise Blockchain Transformation Award recognizes a company that is using blockchain technology to transform its industry. This award recognizes the tangible and long-term impact that the company is working to achieve, based on its commitment to driving innovation.
The 2019 EBAs winners were honoured at a gala ceremony in downtown Toronto. The ceremony featured a special performance by award-winning musician and technologist Imogen Heap and hosted by comedians Colin Mochrie and Deb McGrath.
